Come and make a splash at Thorpe Lakes Aqua Park!

Children need to be able to swim 50 metres unassisted with a life jacket on. They will end up in the water, and their head is likely to go underwater and there is a short swim to get onto the aqua park from the start dock. Being confident in the water is essential.
What to wear: Swimwear or tight fitting gym clothes. Goggles permitted. Children can wear their own wet suit or wet suits are available to hire on the day at £5 per suit, at your own cost. (Only tight fitting clothing such as leggings, shorts, fitted vests or T shirts are permitted on the park. Loose clothing is not permitted). Only wet suit shoes are permitted on the Aqua Park. Normal shoes can be worn walking around the site on land.
Age restrictions & booking: The minimum age for unaccompanied children on the Aqua Park is 8. If you need to accompany your child you will need to book a place on this event too.
Tickets are limited so please book early to secure your child’s place and avoid disappointment. Booking for this event in on line only and will close on Friday 15th June 2018.
Please also note that priority will be given to Deaf children over hearing siblings.
How to get there:
Thorpe Lakes Aqua Park is accessible by car. There is free parking on site.
The postcode KT16 8PH will bring you directly to it.
The entrance to the site is on the B388 between Thorpe Village and Chertsey, Surrey. (Walk across the footbridge).
Other useful information:
There is a café / bar on site which offers a full range of drinks, healthy food options and snacks. There is a good view from the viewing platform and aqua park bus for all spectators and a safe and dry area for you to relax and take photos.
This event will still go ahead in heavy rain or other adverse weather conditions (except in the event of lightening and thunder, the operators will wait for it to pass before starting again). It’s the great British summer and we must embrace it!
