The Discover UCL Summer School is an exciting opportunity exclusively for D/deaf and hard of hearing students in year 11 and year 12. The summer school is a three day residential programme that gives you the chance to find out more about UCL and stay in university halls of residences for two nights.

Delta, the charity for deaf education through listening and talking, have announced their annual summer schools.

1. A summer school for parents of pre-school aged deaf children and their families, offering information and advice for parents of a deaf pre-schooler from professionals

Thursday 23 July – Sunday 26 July 2015 in Worcester

2. A summer school for parents of primary school aged deaf children and their families. This event will be held the same weekend as the summer school for pre-schoolers but the advice from our professionals is tailored to parents of primary school aged deaf children and their families

The events will each offer opportunities for families to talk to professionals and young deaf people as well as meet other families and listen to talks given by our team of teachers of the deaf.
